Young Enterprise is very active in East Sussex & Brighton with the local area board running the company programme across a wide number and variety of schools and colleges.

There is no doubt about it, becoming a Young Enterprise volunteer will challenge you. However, the excitement and satisfaction of working with and transforming the attitudes of young people, to open their eyes to the world of enterprise, keeps many of our volunteers coming back year after year. We would not be where we are without the incredible volunteers who donate their time and experience to help create the next generation of enterprising young people.You will make a real difference to the lives and potential of young people in the area by helping them to understand the world of business and prepare for their working lives.

There are many ways in which you can be involved in supporting the local Young Enterprise activities including:

• Schools & Colleges: Organise one or more companies / teams to participate in next year’s company programme or get involved with one of the other programmes run by Young Enterprise in local schools and colleges.
• Business Advisers: Volunteer to be a business adviser to one of the Young Enterprise teams / companies.
• Become a Sponsor: Your support for this excellent scheme will be both worthwhile and recognised.
• Local Volunteers: We are always needing volunteers to help run the programme and associated events in the local area.
• Alumni: If you have been involved with a YE company whilst at school or college and live in our local area we would love to hear from you.
