Support & Sponsor Young Enterprise in East Sussex & Brighton
A small or indeed larger sum will help towards the cost of running the Young Enterprise scheme in the area, by sponsoring events and/or awards for which you will receive full recognition.
The Young Enterprise scheme encourages young people in their latter years of secondary education and in further education, to learn about business and explore their entrepreneurial spirit by starting and running their own company, under the auspices of the charity. The companies are very real with shares issued and paid for, products and services produced or purchased for sale and profits being made. Not only does this teach them about how business works but also better equips them to understand commerce and hopefully consider a future career in this sector.
In addition to achieving success with their own company, the students are encouraged to present their results and experiences in a competition to find the most successful Young Enterprise business. Finals for the local East Sussex & Brighton competition are held in the spring of each year, with the winners progressing to a regional and then potentially a national and international final.
Sponsorship is sought such that schools in the East Sussex & Brighton area can participate in the scheme.
There are many, many benefits to supporting Young Enterprise, not least because of the excellent work the programme undertakes with young people. For a list of the more tangible items to you and your company please click here.
